Introduction

BuckSwap is a decentralized exchange (DEX) that operates on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC), with lots of other features that lets everyone within the BuckSwap community to earn and win tokens. BuckSwap is constructing a modern set of decentralized applications and fiscal products for both technologically shrewd individuals and those with absolutely no familiarity of cryptocurrency. We are connecting the space between DeFi and mass adoption by offering ultra-low fees, an intuitive UX design, and accessibility to everyone.

The BuckSwap Vision

At the core of blockchain, there is a pursuit for advancing financial autonomy and access to financial instruments, which were only formerly available to a select group of people, restricted by political boundaries, and government bureaucracy. Due to the inception of Ethereum, Smart Contracts have empowered individuals across the world to settle agreements and reach consensus in a safe and frictionless way. The complexity of this tech has continued to grow exponentially and there are billions of people who need DeFi, however the majority of people have been indirectly excluded from the system because of the high technicality required to understand and use the financial tools that have been developed. Because of the growing popularity of this tech, a barrier of entry has been created where small transactions are disincentivized and users with lower amounts of capital can’t afford to pay for the gas fees needed to interact with the Smart Contracts.

BuckSwap was created as a solution to both the high-technicality requirements and exclusion created by high gas fees. Our belief is that even your Grandma or Grandpa should be able to interact with our DeFi tools and products without having to know what’s happening in the back-end. BuckSwap’s Token ($BUCKS)

$BUCKS is BuckSwap’s native, deflationary, community distributed governance token. As longtime users of crypto, we understand that there is an excess of projects and tokens that have no actual utility or long-term value propositions, which is why we’ve come together to excel from the rest.

The $BUCKS token is the lifeblood of the BuckSwap Ecosystem. Users are able to stake their tokens to receive both staking rewards and fees that are collected by applications within the BuckSwap Ecosystem. Rather than being purely speculative, $BUCKS value is derived from the fees that are collected from the protocol’s users and its utility within BuckSwap, as well as burning mechanisms. $BUCKS tokens will have a wide arrange of applications ranging from their use in the ultra-low-fee DEX, staking within the Vault, custom yield farming strategies in the Mine, and more features to come!

Emission Rate: Token/Block (First Week — 4 Tokens/Block, Second Week — 3 Tokens/Block, and Future Reductions — Will be voted by the community via snapshot). 15% of each minted token will be automatically sent to the BuckSwap Trust Account to be used on further development and marketing.

DEX Fees

When users make a token swap (trade) on the exchange users will pay a 0.2% trading fee, which is broken down as follows: 0.17% — Returned to liquidity pools in the form of a fee reward for liquidity providers. 0.03% — Sent to the BuckSwap Trust Account to be used on further development and marketing.

Staking & Liquidity Mining Fees

There will be a 0% deposit fee on all pools during the first week after launch. Thereafter, there will be a 6% deposit fee on all Non-$BUCKS staking pools. This 6% fee will be burnt to elevate the price for all $BUCKS holders.

BuckSwap’s Governance

The BuckSwap Organization is comprised of like-minded individuals who aim to create an objective yield farming platform that is both secure and advantageous to the community. Unlike most projects, BuckSwap is being built by both experts in software development and business-minded individuals who’ll be able to bring these tools to the masses with great code, marketing, and partnerships.

The BuckSwap community is always proposing new use cases. The $BUCKS token’s supply mechanisms have been built with long-term holders in mind. It is against the nature of Buck Swap to dilute early users for the benefit of others, thus the $BUCKS token has many built-in burning mechanisms and deflationary implementations to ensure it is continuously appreciating in value for both newcomers and legacy holders. In order to increase $BUCKS’ value over time and balance the circulating supply of our token, the token was engineered with several key burning mechanisms in place.

Voting — Each $BUCKS staked in the Staking Contract will generate an equal number of votes in the BuckSwap governance contract. The votes can be used to decide further developments and changes to the BuckSwap protocol.

Proposals — Every $BUCKS holder will be able to offer a proposal. Every proposal will cost 0.1 $BUCKS which will go to the BuckSwap Trust Account to be used on further development and marketing. For a proposal to be executed, it must obtain 30% of all possible votes. More than 50% of the 30% of all possible votes must be “YES”.

Vote Vesting — Any person who votes will have 48 hours of vesting on their tokens in the Staking Contract; this is necessary in order to prevent voting manipulation.
